Lichfield City supporters are being offered the chance to travel to the club’s first appearance in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round in style.
Due to the anticipated demand for fans wishing to attend the away fixture on Saturday 7 September, the club is laying on an official supporters’ coach for the match.
The coach will depart the City Ground at 1.15pm for the trip to Halesowen, with the return journey departing at approximately 6pm. Tickets cost £8 per supporter.
City boss Jay Hawkins said: “We have already broken new ground in reaching this stage of the competition for the first time and I am pleased the club has laid on a coach to help our supporters cheer us on in the next round.”
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested should enquire at the clubhouse or call the club on 01543 258338 (after 12pm weekends or after 7pm Tue-Fri).
Tickets will be available at Lichfield’s FA Vase fixture against Birmingham-based Romulus tomorrow (Saturday 31 August) – enquire in the clubhouse.
