Lichfield City conclude their pre-season programme with a double header at the City Ground tomorrow (Sat 27 July).
City manager Jay Hawkins has devised a tough pre-season programme for his side with every fixture to date against sides from higher steps on the non-league pyramid.
Despite this, City have competed well in their five games, scoring seven goals and suffering only one-goal defeats to Walsall U18s, Romulus and Chasetown.
This weekend it is Midland League Division Two side Bolehall Swifts who are the first visitors to the City Ground for a 12noon kick-off.
Next up will be West Midlands (Regional) League side Wolverhampton Sporting for a 3pm kick-off.
Hawkins said: “Having two fixtures gives us a great chance to look at a number of players ahead of the new season starting next week.”
Admission for Saturday’s double header is £3 adults and £1 concessions.
